2- Plants should be free from diseased damage or insect infestation.

3- Plants should be fresh looking

4- Plants must be free from the effects of pesticides used before planting plants.

5- It should also be free of contamination with dust and remnants of mud stuck to plants.

6- The base of the plants should be white with fresh green leaves.

7- The plants must be free from mechanical damage such as breaking the leaves or the base of the plants as a result of Harvest .
